Sweat For Vets was an initiative started in 2014 when a couple Army officers who had served together in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom VII returned home and decided to start a fundraiser with the objective of raising money for local Veterans.

The Sweat For Vets Foundation was created in 2018 in an effort to support local Veterans and their families in receiving educational support while attending colleges, universities or trade schools.

How We Make A Difference For Local Veterans

The initial efforts for this fundraiser was a local trail race held in central Pennsylvania around Veterans Day. In its first four years, the Sweat For Vets Challenge race had grew into the largest Veterans Day fundraiser in central Pennsylvania having raised more than $130,000 for local Veterans.

The initial efforts for this fundraiser was a local trail race held in central Pennsylvania around Veterans Day. In its first four years, the Sweat For Vets Challenge race had grew into the largest Veterans Day fundraiser in central Pennsylvania having raised more than $130,000 for local Veterans.

In 2018, Sweat For Vets incorporated in order to continue its mission of supporting Veterans in need. Today, Sweat for Vets is a 501(c)3 charitable corporation which continues its mission of fundraising for local Veterans and their families.
